Icon Polymer components for Warrior upgrade

Components from Icon Polymer are among those highlighted by BAE Systems as part of a major package of upgrades which has made British Army Warrior vehicles in Afghanistan better protected and more mobile.

Icon Polymer has supplied performance-enhancing components as part of the TES(H) (Theatre Entry Standard - Herrick) programme of around 30 new upgrades to the Warrior fighting vehicle. Click here for more details.
 
More than 70 vehicles were upgraded as part of the £40m TES(H) programme.

Icon has a well-established track record in safety critical components for the defence and aerospace industries and supplies a comprehensive range of components for the Warrior and the UK fighting vehicle fleet.
Director of Sales Neal Hillier said: "Our understanding of the needs of the defence industry was important in winning this order and we are delighted to have been able to contribute to a project which will both safeguard British troops and make them more effective."
